Catch Arman Mantella on BBC One weekday drama Doctors

After popping up on our television screens in Eastenders last year, young Turkish Cypriot actor Arman Mantella is now set to play ‘Ferdy’ in an episode of Doctors that will be broadcast this week.

The long-running lunchtime soap opera is set around a busy GP practice based in the fictional Midlands town of Letherbridge, near Birmingham, which is where Arman went to film the episode.

Without giving away too many details, Arman told T-VINE that Ferdy is a drug-dealer who crosses one of the show’s main characters, Dr Heston Carter, played by Owen Brenman. Dr Carter is eager to track down the supplier behind a bad batch of Viper, a drug that is causing havoc in the local community. But has Dr Carter bitten off more than he can chew? Watch and see!

The episode featuring Arman will be screened on BBC 1 at 1.45pm on Wednesday 7 February 2018. Or watch anytime afterwards for up to 29 days after the initial broadcast on the BBC iPlayer (Doctors, Episode 155 of Series 19).
