A family in North Cyprus are facing double heartache after losing Cem Besim Özgöker and his father Besim within 24 hours of each other.
On Wednesday 30 August, the family were plunged into grief after 49-year-old Cem Özgöker died in Ankara. The well-known and liked worker from Mağusa Harbour had gone to Turkey for medical treatment.
The tragic news was too much to bear for his elderly father Besim, who passed away earlier today. The two are expected to be buried side-by-side in the main Mağusa (Famagusta) Cemetery on Friday.
