Tonight, British superstar rapper Tinie Tempah will be performing at one of Cyprus’ biggest and most glamorous clubs: Cage Wonderland at Cratos Premium Hotel in Girne. It will be the multi-million selling artist’s first trip to North Cyprus and it promises to be a huge night.

Tinie Tempah exploded on to the music scene with his debut track Pass Out in 2009, entering the UK charts at number one and going on to win the Best British Single BRIT Award in 2011. He has since recorded or been featured on six other UK number one hits, including Written in the Stars (ft Eric Turner, 2010), Not Letting Go (ft Jess Glynne, 2015), and R.I.P. – his 2012 collaboration with Rita Ora.

The southeast Londoner of Nigerian heritage has forged his own musical path fusing hip hop, grime, dub and futuristic-sounding synth pop to create some of the biggest and memorable hits of the past decade. Earlier this year he released his new album Youth. And when he’s not writing and singing hit songs, Tinie also runs his own fashion and record label Disturbing London.

Summer is generally a busy time for the 28-year-old, as he performs at music festivals and special functions all around the world, and also headlines his own weekly party in Ibiza. Now in its third year, Disturbing Ibiza takes place at the luxury Ushuaia hotel every Friday where Tinie and his crew of DJs take to the stage to perform in front of 7,000 fans each week.

Tinie will be bringing his party vibe to Cyprus for this exclusive mid-week event at Cage Club.

The promoters gave the beach-front club a “Wonderland” makeover for the start of this season, making it an even more spectacular setting. So far this summer Germany’s DJ Katch, Turkey’s Emrah İş and Dutch DJ Gregor Salto have graced Cage’s decks.

The club steps it up a gear this week – usually the busiest of the year for tourists – by hosting Tinie Tempah tonight, followed by legendary pop band SNAP! (The Power, Rhythm is a Dancer, Exterminate) on Sunday.
