Three distinct voices from the Turkish and Anatolian rock underground come together for an evening where heavy riffs, restless rhythms and regional musical heritage meet on the stage of Signature Brew – Blackhorse Road, London.
Headlining the night, THE MADCAP deliver modern hard rock with arena-sized ambition, soaring vocals, melodic hooks and an unapologetic rock ’n’ roll spirit forged through years on the road.
Joining them, SKP Trio explore the darker edges of the Anatolian soundscape, weaving the textures of their musical heritage into an intense, grunge-driven sonic landscape.
Opening the evening, UZAK revisit the spirit of ’90s and 2000s Turkish alternative rock, bringing its distinctive character to a UK audience while carving their own path through a growing collection of original material.

The Madcap: Turkish hard rock powerhouse making waves in the UK
Formed in 2015 by guitarist and songwriter Deniz Sayman and vocalist İzgi Gültekin, The Madcap have evolved from a YouTube hard rock cover project into a formidable live act, delivering a high-energy blend of classic rock swagger and modern hard rock attitude.
Drawing on the legacy of Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Queen and Van Halen, alongside contemporary rock and metal acts, The Madcap combine flamboyant showmanship, powerful vocals and arena-ready hooks with a sound built for the live stage.
With more than 300 shows under their belt, the band have toured across Türkiye and Ukraine, performed in Croatia and the UK, and appeared at major festivals alongside legendary names including Glenn Hughes, Firewind, Masterplan, U.D.O. Dirkschneider and Mike Tramp’s White Lion.
Their achievements also include reaching the semi-finals of Rising Star Türkiye and winning regional honours in Hard Rock Cafe’s international Hard Rock Rising competition.
The Madcap’s 2024 album, Beat the Destiny, features a collaboration with Tommy Johansson of Sabaton and Majestica, marking another milestone in their growing international career.
Recognised by Arts Council England as global talent, the band subsequently relocated to London on the UK Global Talent Visa, opening an exciting new chapter in their journey.
Since arriving in Britain, The Madcap have made their presence felt in the capital’s rock arena, with multiple sold-out appearances at Slim Jim’s Liquor Store, two performances at Camden’s iconic Electric Ballroom, and a place in the Grand Final of the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood competition at Bush Hall.
Now firmly established on the UK live circuit, The Madcap are bringing their explosive hard rock sound to new audiences, with ambitions to conquer bigger stages across Britain and Europe. Expect big riffs, soaring vocals and unapologetic rock ’n’ roll energy from a band determined to take things to the next level.
