Earthquake appeal: stars line up to perform at music concert fundraiser at Royal Albert Hall

Tickets are going on sale on Friday, 17 March, for a special one-off charity fundraiser at the Royal Albert Hall in April to raise vital funds for those impacted by the devasting earthquakes in Turkiye and Syria.

Organised by War Child and the Turkey Mozaik Foundation, the show will feature sets from Marcus Mumford, Dermot Kennedy, Hozier, James Bay, Anna Calvi and Nilüfer Yanya.

There will be exclusive live performance by the newly formed Solidarity Ensemble comprising of musicians from Turkiye and Syria: Çiğdem Aslan, Djanan Turan, Erdal Yapıcı, Levant Canen, Maya Youssef, Serkan Çakmak, Suat Karakuş, Suna Alan and Tahir Palali.

Hosts will be renowned Turkish actor Halit Ergenç (played Sultan Suleyman in global hit drama Muhteşem Yüzyıl) and broadcaster, musician and actor Jumoké Fashola, with appearances from British actors Olivia Colman and Gubu Mbatha-Raw, and comedian Omid Djalili.

The event takes place on Saturday 15 April and all proceeds raised will go to War Child. Tickets are now available for the Royal Albert Hall box office.
