See Turkish alternative rock band Pinhani live at the Islington Assembly Hall

Next year will mark two decades for popular indie rock band Pinhani. Formed by two cousins, Sinan Kaynakçı and Zeynep Eylül Üçe, back in 2004, Pinhani quickly rose to prominence in the Turkish music scene with their unique melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

Pinhani were responsible for the soundtrack to TV drama series “Kavak Yelleri” about four young friends from Urla moving to Istanbul, which was first screened in 2007. The acclaimed series spawned several hits for the band, and helped their profile grow far beyond the indie rock circuit.

Over the years, they’ve delivered several albums and iconic tracks such as “Bilir o Beni”, “Beni Sen İnandır”, and “Hele bi Gel”. Fiercely ethical, the band also share their songs on their official website.

As a testament to their ever-growing international appeal, the four-piece Pinhani is set to captivate their fans in London with a concert at Islington Assembly Hall in January 2024.
