Pop star Sibel Tüzün to perform at Twickenham’s Exchange for Turkish earthquake relief

Renowned Turkish singer-songwriter Sibel Tüzün will be taking to the stage at The Exchange later this month to help raise money to support ongoing relief for survivors of the devastating earthquake that struck Turkiye in February.

Tüzün’s 30-year career has seen her produce a string of rock and pop hits, including Yine Yalnızım (I’m Alone Again, 2002), Aç Telefonu (Pick Up the Telephone, 2008) and Aşk Bize Yeter  (Love is Enough for Us, 2015), recorded with İskender Paydaş with the video shot in London.

The Istanbul-born singer also represented Turkiye at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, coming eleventh on 91 points with the song Süper Star.

For her fundraiser concert, Tüzün will sing a set of crowd-pleasing British and Turkish pop songs from the 1960s through to the 2000s. All proceeds will go to the Turkey Mozaik Foundation’s Turkish Earthquake Relief Fund.
