If you’re in London and looking for an upmarket, fun place with a Turkish vibe to celebrate the end of Ramazan with friends and family, then look no further than Melin Restaurant on Chigwell Road in Woodford.

This plush venue, favoured by the stars of The Only Way Is Essex, footballers and more, is under new management with Engin Yorgancı (formerly Cyprus Garden and Cyprus Meze Bar) now at the helm. He is presenting the venue’s first Turkish themed night since the massive earthquake Turkiye in February.

The Sunday evening event on 23 April will feature entertainment from the capital’s favourite Turkish cabaret artist Kader Ateş, Semra İleten, formerly lead vocalist for Beyaz Kelebekler, violinist Turgay Göçen and pianist Yılmaz.

Melin is known for its Mediterranean cuisine and traditional Turkish hospitality, and both will be on offer in abundance for this ‘Bayram Balo’.

Guests can dine on a set menu comprising of hot and cold meze starters, main meal (mixed kebab, chicken, fish and vegetarian options) and fruit platter for dessert.
