If you’ve ever considered having a health procedure in Türkiye, now is your chance to investigate by meeting the experts here in London.

The “Trust London United Kingdom and Türkiye Medical Tourism Fair and Conference” is a one-day event bringing together around 30 healthcare organisations from Türkiye. These include doctors and healthcare professionals from hospitals, dental clinics, IVF clinics, hair transplant centres, plastic surgery clinics, and thermal tourism centres in Türkiye. Prominent figures from Britain’s health and technology field are also expected to join the event.

The fair is being staged by Gusib and Future X Events at the Holiday Inn London in Bloomsbury from 9am to 6pm on 21 June.

The fair and conference are free of charge for visitors, who will also be able to speak with these organisations, visit their booths and receive information about the medical services they provide.

Citing the fact that Türkiye is in the top 3 of countries providing the best medical service, event organiser Levent Baş said: “Although each of the institutions are doing their own marketing, our conference and fair seeks to establish Türkiye as a brand in medical tourism.”

The conference will kick off with a talk at 10am by Professor Leyla Türker Şener on, “Sustainable Future with Metaverse”.

There will be a panel discussion by healthcare professionals about the use of informatics and communications technology in medical tourism.

Another discussion at the conference will be on what the metaverse holds for healthcare, with panel participants including Nihal Terzi (Health Store Turkey founder), Ümit Yeşiltaş (Dell Türkiye) and İlker Uludağ (Tekyaz).

The panel at midday will explore how Britain and Türkiye can improve their cooperation in the medical field. It presents an ideal opportunity for professionals from both countries to network.

In the run-up to the London conference, Terzi stressed the advantages of Türkiye’s robust healthcare infrastructure, countless health experts and geographically close location to the UK and Europe, which are all driving the country’s flourishing medical tourism sector.
